Job Description Details:
Although specialised in one academic discipline, the candidate will demonstrate interest in all areas of the curriculum, read widely, understand finance and budgeting, be able to lead a team of experienced teachers and mentor junior staff, show initiative and encourage creativity in others, and maintain discipline at all times. Leading a school is a high pressure lob and so the ability to plan, execute and review individual projects is paramount. Administrative skills, fluency in written and spoken English, good general knowledge, and classroom skills will be assessed at the time of interview. The successful candidate will have leadership experience, preferably as the Head of a School, a Masters degree, a degree in education, and at least 15 years teaching experience.
