Job Description Details:
Location - London or the Asia Pacific Region. Salary - 50,100 if London Based , or suitable competitive salary if based in the region fixed term contract of one year in duration. Looking for someone to line manage our teams working in the South Asia sub - region and to work with the Programme Director and other managers to develop and deliver strategies in the Asia Pacific region. All the while ensuring that it remains aligned with Amnesty s broader strategic objectives. This role incorporates everything from people management , training and development to operational planning and budgetary control. You will have knowledge of the region, political judgement, and management skills. You re likely to come to us from a similar role with another NGO. You will be able to lead, inspire and bring out the best in everyone around you. If you have proven experience and skills in these fields, and lived and worked in the Asia Pacific region, in particular South Asia, this is the chance to help shape Amnesty International s human rights agenda there. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, ideally you will also be fluent in a South Asian language.
