About the awards

The Act of Compassion awards is a prestigious award ceremony that recognizes organizations and individuals for their outstanding practices in corporate social responsibility. It is going to offer a platform for honoring the marvelous performance of business that are making positive impact.

These honors highlight the significant social and environmental impact that companies can achieve when they lead with purpose. In addition to recognizing organizational accomplishments, the Act of Compassion Awards will support societal and environmental development .It will inspire others to pursue self-regulated actions and strive for excellence by showcasing success stories and creative solutions.

Why participate?

  • To motivate Indian corporations to increase their CSR spending, by integrating social and environmental concerns, businesses can make a positive impact on their employees, the community, and the environment.
  • To increase the productivity, results, and execution of CSR initiatives being carried out at different levels.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The entity must have a registered office in the Pune district for more than 2 years as of March 31, 2023.
  • The entity must have registered documents such as Incorporation certificate, GST certificate, etc.
  • The key initiative applied for the Awards should be within the lawful and legal rights of Indian judiciary system and must have benefitted India, or a community in India.
  • The initiative applying for the awards must have been implemented within the period April 01, 2021 to March 31, 2023 and must have been implemented in India.
  • The entity should have spent CSR provisions, allocating 2% of the average net profits made during the preceding 3 years as per the CSR policy.
  • The Jury holds the right to disqualify any application which does not meet the eligibility criteria. Jury’s decisions are final and binding on all Participants and cannot be challenged in any manner whatsoever.
  • Employees of BCCL, sponsors and partners of the Awards are not allowed to participate in the Awards.
  • Participation in the Awards is subject to defined rules and regulations available on website.
  • The Award categories may be changed / modified / split / merged / increased or cancelled by the Award Management and/ or Jury based on the number of entries received in any category, and the quality of the entries. The decision in this regard will be final, non- contestable and binding on all participants. The Award Management will not entertain any queries in this regard.

  • Participants need to accept the terms and conditions at the end of the application form to submit their entry
  • The final eligibility of the nominees is subject to the discretion and approval of the Award management and Jury
