Scope of Role Engineer is involved in the design and development of new product and providing design solutions as per client requirements. He is responsible for requirements study, feasibility check, creating concepts / layouts and 3D models, 3D annotation, 2D Drawings, Data Release in TC, Change Management. Area of Responsibility Create concept design / layouts / alternate designs / do the design calculations.Create 3D models Generate 2D drawings and 3D annotation BOM Creation and Data management in Team Center Creation of technical documents as directed by TL.Adherence to all quality parameters and process as required by organization as well as client requirements.Prepare technical presentations for assigned tasks.Communicate with peers / onsite team / customer on regular basis or as per project need Attend review meetings / conference calls with (peers / onsite team / customer) and provide the inputs for meeting as requested by TL / Module lead / Onsite coordinator.Participate in knowledge sharing and training sessions.Document the best practices, preferred work procedures and get it validated by team leader.Ensure on time delivery with required quality level Timely update the work status to technical lead / customer / Onsite coordinator.Participate in idea ge neration to improve the productivity, processesParticipate actively in acquisition of patents and publishing technical papers in their area of work.Onsite support to client if required. Knowledge / Experience 4 to 6 Years Essential: Hands on experience in design or integration of at least two and preferably more in BIW Structure, Upperbody - Drain Channel, Tail Lamp housing, Roof, Body side reinforcement, Sealing, Joining. Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.Good communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels Lia ise with Cross functional team, Peers Process and tool Knowledge on Volkswagen(Eg: Connect system, VW GRCLite) and German language will be added advantage. PC Literacy: Power Point, Excel, Word etc CAD Literacy: Ability to generate parametric CAD data and M aster sections in CATIA V5 Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector. Qualification Minimum BE/B. Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive Engineering
