Coforge - Applications/Technical Support Engineer
Must have : - Monitor and troubleshoot issues with network and server infrastructure. - Expertise with standard SDLC tools, version control systems, diff-ing tools - Strong relational database experience, preferably Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL - Ability to work within a team with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skill. - Makes technical investigations for performance incidents and examines issues arising to determine the causes and provide / propose solutions to solve the identified problems. - Familiar with Eclipse/IntelliJ, Tomcat, Maven - Support the design and creation of technical specifications for development projects of medium to major complexity. Preferred: - Unit testing with JUnit, MockObjects experience - Excellent communicator, in-person and written. - Agile methodology focus - Willingness to use different programming languages to address the specific product needs (Java, Batch Scripting etc.) - Azure or AWS experience, knowledge of network topology, debugging on Wintel/Linux systems. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas that require improvement. - Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and policies related to IT infrastructure, perform disaster recovery planning. Experience/education : - Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering. - A minimum of 8 years' professional software engineering experience - 8-10 years of work experience in Application Technical Support, Software Development and SDLCMandatory Skills :- JAVA/J2EE (ref:hirist.com)
